Reasons why it’s endangered:
The Leatherback turtle is mainly endangered because of water pollution and plastic bags. Indeed, the water is becoming more and more polluted and the turtles mistake the plastic bags for jelly fish. When they swallow a plastic bag, they can't breathe anymore and die.
